Always

There's candy and bitter

There wear and tear

There's joy and deter

But love's always there

There's a fairy for tooth

A ghost in the lair

There's a path nowhere smooth

But hope's always there

There are things we hate

Deeds one or in pair

Decision and fate

But care's always there

There's  a storm in the sea

Onboard a baby smile's with glee

There's a tunnel deep, unaware

But light's always there

There's a Christmas wreath 

And one for death

I, also an heir 

But life's always there
